Cred App: what is cred app, how to use

Hey guys, actually, I’m Ghanshyam, and if you do end up liking what you see here, So, when you open up CRED for the first time, like most apps these days, it asks for your phone number. Once you register, the app automatically checks for your credit scores. If your score is higher than 750, you can enter the app and enjoy its benefits. Once you complete the registration process, CRED should automatically pick up your credit cards, but that doesn’t mean you’re ready to use the app yet. For security reasons, you have to go in and individually verify each card before you can start cracking them and paying monthly bills and earning rewards in the process. Once the verification is done, take it to go. Before you enter the CRED app,
you need to first unlock it using a fingerprint or a passcode. Once you’re in the app, you get this card like interface. Now frankly, this looks quite nice. any card bills you might have due. If you have dismissed the card payment reminders like we actually did, then tapping on the second tab on the bottom bar, it takes you to all your cards. Now from this menu, you can make your payments. This way, CRED ensures that you can keep track of all your card payments from one single place and you never end up missing out on any payments. And to pay, CRED gives you three choices. Either pay the entire amount you or the minimum you or you can just repay any customer amount of your choice. From here, you can make your payment via UPI in that banking or debit card. And once you pay via the app, you could be equally well into the payment amount made. You get that back in the form of CRED coins. Now CRED coins are how you get rewards with the CRED app. Clicking on the third tab on the bottom bar, it lets you check out a lot of offers and coupons. You can dig into the details of every offer by tapping on the details option. You can claim a reward by tapping get this and burning your CRED coins. Nice. Once you’ve claimed the offer, the icon to the top right, it takes you to my rewards, where you can find it. The compass like icon below it, it helps narrow down rewards by specific. localities or by organizing them into categories. And the last icon here, it lets you share the link. The offers get pretty good. Like for example, this one, it’s a swiggy offer. It gets you 50% off on your order up to 1000 rupees. So that’s 1000 rupees that you could make for every 35,000 rupees you pay. That’s a credit card bills so that’s money you’ve spent any which way you’re just paying your bills and you could end up making up to a thousand rupees so and this is not even the best
for what they have. Now one point to note when I was researching this app I came across a few rare cases where payments hadn’t been reflected on the cards after being made and to help out in cases like this credit offers an instant refund option. You need to stand up first though but once you do if in a rare case of a payment failure you get it back instantly you can set this up from under your profile by the way since you’re already on the profile screen let us take a look around you have a useful data like the time you join your credit score credit protect your credit coins and the credit cards payment history and all that credit protect is one we’ve not seen yet it is a unique service that sends you WhatsApp and mail alerts for important things like due dates much statements in hidden charge alerts now banks often keep sneaking in charges and unwanted services and since they are bundled in with a credit card bills just a chance we might miss them we may not really notice what their charging is and credit is supposed to help here credit is supposed to highlight these hidden charges so we can avoid them we can kind of work around them and that is one of the big pros of credit another way credit helps us we’re starting through the credit card bill and categorizing the spending into different categories like food travel etc credit calls them smart statements and they can be helpful since you do end up getting a broad overview of how exactly you’re spending most of your money the rest of the options they are pretty self-explanatory for the most part and by the way you also get a dark and light theme toggle here that’s pretty sweet now returning to the homepage again you can see the control icon on the top right this is like a dashboard that gives you an overview of all your information right from your collected credit coins your claim rewards and even your payment history cred also offers gems you earn 10 gems for each friend who joins the app using a referral link now remember the gems get credited only when your friend makes their first payment now what two gems get used for when you can unlock exclusive rewards with them like this super gift card so well that’s about it from my end now it’s your turn to tell me what you guys, have any of you used cred in the past how was your experience then let me know in the comments.
